Illusion House

The Willson family intends to construct a house that provides them with a space to enjoy private time away from their children, while also serving as a guest house for their summer visits. They are drawn to the concept of incorporating numerous windows throughout the entire house, all while maintaining their privacy. Internally, they desire a studio-style arrangement featuring wood, natural stone, and deep, moody colors.

For the exterior windows, I plan to utilize semi-transparent mirror glass. This approach will create an optical illusion that enhances privacy, yet still permits clear views of the outdoors from within the house. The proposed Illusion House will be situated in Medina, WA.
